Ernie and Lydia traveled to Myanmar this month where they began the English conversation camp. One week of English conversation camp saw 22 elementary school students start attending and it ending with 33 in attendance!

Ernie and Lydia headed to Bago, Myanmar on Monday, December 16th. They will be there for approximately two weeks to work on ForgetNot projects.
One new item that they will be testing is to do "conversational English" teaching in the village where our preschool is. It will be the first time in this area for a project of this type. We will be using the curriculum that our friends, Michael and Anna Maloney have put together. We really appreciate their effort to put together such well organized materials in only a few months (see photos below of Michael and Anna training us). We are believing that this work can then be used to extend to a monthly and/or annual curriculum.
While in Myanmar, the plan is to have Lydia teach the elementary aged students while Ernie teaches older students (and adults). With this step, we hope that in the future, our partners like you can also spend a few weeks there to help in the language program.

Ernie and Lydia will be bringing many pairs of shoes to give to the villagers, thanks to the generous donation of a good friend and his family!
